Sur lie aging in the lightest toast of new French oak allows the purity of Semillon to shine. A luminous golden hue hints at depth and texture. The nose opens with fresh citrus and lemon peel, layered with subtle brioche and ripe Asian pear. On the palate, vibrant acidity carries notes of lemon curd and wet stone minerality, complemented by a gentle touch of vanilla. The finish is poised and persistent, with savory nuance and refined length.

Full-bodied yet composed, the palate shows finely grained, rounded tannins supported by fresh, well-judged acidity. This single-vineyard Cabernet Franc from Coombsville originates from an eastern hillside site that produces small berries and naturally low yields. The wine is bold and deeply layered, with blackberry, black cherry, currant, anise, and dark chocolate at the core. Full-bodied and richly textured, it shows notes of espresso, caramel, and warm baking spice, supported by structured tannins and a dry, persistent finish.

The 2023 Proprietary BDX Blend displays a deep, saturated purple color with aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, subtle smoke, and refined oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with layered dark fruit, a smooth, textured mouthfeel, polished tannins, and a long, persistent finish. Rich, polished and beautifully balanced, this 2023 is highly enjoyable now while offering the structure to reward additional time in the cellar.

The Rutherford Reserve is rich and polished, offering layers of black cherry and dark plum framed by silky, fine-grained tannins. Notes of baking spice, dark chocolate, and cedar add depth and complexity, while the finish is long, mineral-driven, and subtly earthy. Refined yet generous, the wine combines depth, balance, and a luxurious texture with impressive persistence.
